Hi,

I have been looking for a good solution for a portable telescope for outdoor use and international astro travels for a long time. I am looking for an astrograph with a mirror, relatively short and lightweight. For some time, I have been considering the AG8, and now there is a promotion on the Orion website for this telescope. Does anyone own it and could write in a few sentences about its performance, the quality of the optics, and the build? The competition in the market is basically only made in China, or Epsilons, where you need to replace the poor-quality focuser from the start. Please advise how it performs with APS-C size sensors.
