It's an archive broadcast but excellent which goes from the start of the space race through to Armstrong taking the monumental first steps. 

I listened on my long journey back to Lancs from Norfolk, made an hours worth of the drive very pleasurable and humorous in the right places.

Thanks for that, I’ll have a listen. A couple of days ago I watched on iPlayer “8 Days: To the Moon and Back”. It’s about the first moon landing and uses the recorded onboard conversations.
