Friday night's aurora

On Friday 10th I was just outside Sheffield and caught some absolutely mind-blowing views of the aurora - my very first sighting. 

I also set my phone (pixel 7) taking pics in 'astrophotography mode' where it takes a bunch of exposures and stacks them.

They're not the best composed pics in the world - I had no tripod so was improvising and balancing the phone to point vaguely skyward! But the software magic of these phone keeps on impressing me - the little movies it makes from the stack of exposures came out particularly well I think.
