How to image moving magnitude 6 satellite

Hi

I ha e a 14mm f2.8 lense or a 70 to300mm f4.5 to 5.8 lense.

I am trying to image a mag 6 satellite. Is 8t better to zoom and lose f atops or use wide angle. Or can i use either with say 400 to 600 ISO and longer exposure?

The object will be visible for 2 min. So i can't experiment much.
