EAA Laptop specs

I am in the process of buying a refurbished laptop to do some EAA. I have narrowed it down to 16GB ram, i7 processor and 512 GB SSD. Is windows 10 okay or am I better with Windows 11? Finally is the intel Celeron processor okay or best avoided. Best to check these things before buying I guess. Thanks.

Windows 10 is certainly OK. I started doing EAA with 10 then replaced the laptop and moved to 11. I've not been able to get the SynScan App to connect to the mount with 11, and could with 10, so to do alignment I need to take the laptop outside and use the handset. But this may just be an issue with my particular Windows 11 install.

I am doing EAA with a lower spec laptop than this.  8Gb RAM, i5 series 7 processor, 256GB SSD, Windows 10.  It works just fine and makes short work of plate-solving.  The only issue I had with it, asides from replacing the battery, was not performance-related at all: it's a slimline design and the hinge mounts disintegrated because the hinges were far too stiff.  It took me ages to dismantle it, rebuild the hinge mounts and slacken off the hinge friction nuts.
