Pleiades Open Cluster, aka M45, with an Olympus Om-D E-M10 MkII and 45mm f/1.8.

Shot in a Bortle 5 sky, untracked footage, in a humid and cold night.

4 seconds exposures at ISO 3200 and f/2.0.

Stacked and processed in PixInsight (WBPP, ImageIntegration, AutomaticBackgroundExtractor, BackgroundNeutralization, ColorCalibration, MultiscaleLinearTransform, HistogramTransformation, LocalHistogramEqualization, MorphologicalTransformation, CurvesTransformation).

Pleiades_Network.thumb.jpg.47326ac3fa29c109cefb347b9d49bbdc.jpg

545 lights, 55 darks, 70 biases and 70 flats.

Even though the short focal lenght (the camera has a crop factor of 2x) and the cromatic aberration, the star cluster is easy to spot.

Have you got any advice about processing or gear?
