AstroGS
It was one of those nights that did not plan to have clear skies but, got lucky and surprised. The M33 came as the simplest and easiest target for the night. Deployed the AM5 with the GT81 and 10 mins later had everything ready to start imaging 🙂 ZWO AM5 WO GT81 + 0.8x Flattener/ Reducer ASI533MC Pro Optolong L-Pro AsiAir Pro ZWO EAF and ASI290mm mini guide camera Integrated & Processed in PI 36 x 600sec lights 50 x Darks, 50 x Flats & 50 x Bias
MartinB
That is a nice field of view for this galaxy and the outer arms are showing up nicely although they look a little smeared, presumably related to some noise reduction. Whenever I have tried to image this target I have always found those outer areas very challenging. The colour is very subdued which in many ways is an excellent thing and is probably a more faithful presentation than the more saturated palette we normally go for.
