Skymax 127 SupaTrak AUTO converting to GOTO

Hi all,

I notice that skywatcher have released a new range of scopes with the new GOTO mounts which look identicle to my Supertrak other than the colour and a synscan handset.

Do you think by buying a synscan handset that this would make my scope GOTO our will the internals of my mount be different.....I'm sure it will be to good to be true.

At the moment they don't seem to be selling the new mount on it's own but if they did would anyone like to hazard a guess at how much it might be?

I looked into this myself and dont think you can just plug the handset in ,however try this link if you are feeling technical

I saved up and bought a EQ5 synscan mount never looked back.

will sell the supatrak at some point

Seen that link myself before and didn't fancy trying it myself as I would probally end up with no mount at all!!
