Sharpless and Dark Nebulae (including the claw) in Vulpecula

This is a two panel mosaic of an area of the milky way in Vulpecula, taken Thursday / Friday. There are various bits of red nebulosity which are all the Sharpless objects from 2-86 to 2-90, from right to left. There's also plenty of dark nebulae weaving around, and I particularly like the bits to the left which look a bit like a giant claw!

RASA 11, CEM120, ASI2400MC Pro, total integration of 389 x 30 seconds.

I should add that on Thursday there was a slight risk of rain before morning, but I was all set up, so went for it (and went to bed). My tripod and mains electrics are fully protected, covered by a telegizmos tripod cover, but I felt the need to wrap the 12v electrics and cameras on the scope with cling film.... it did indeed rain a bit, and I got away with it! Maybe won't do that again...

Clear again tonight (and no rain, hopefully!) -  Clear Skies to you all too!

Lovely image, the RAS seems very efficient for this type of targets. You were brave with the rain threat !

Thanks!  re: the rain - I think foolish is the word probably!  I guess it would be nice to have an obsy with rain sensor and automated closing, but don't think that's going to happen.
