Hi Folks.

Last night was wicked, very rare on the East Coast,so got out early.I settled on IC 1805 in Cassiopia, and decided to do a HOO image.

I used my newly(second hand) and very well liked Atik 460ex and my ED 102 with a x0.6 Reducer. The Nebulae proved too large to get it all in, so maybe a mosaic could be tried.😬

I think this has to be the longest session i have tried as i spent about 7hrs in total with this Nebulae.

I do like the dusty regions within the the Nebulae and the hot young Stars at its centre known as Melotte 15.

It has been fully calibrated.

I thought i would also post the Starless image because i really like it.

Cheers.

Mick.
