Looking for that dark sky

It's been long time since I have been in here and the last time I was seriously out in the dark I lived on the Cairngorms so never had a worry over light pollution.

This is not the case now...I live nr Silverstone. I know I have been spoilt in the past with my location but any ideas where my local best spot(s) would be for me now ? 

Banbury, Daventry, Northampton, Milton Keyens are all 20 to 30 mins away from me if you need to get a handle on my location.

you could take a look at a light pollution map, banbury is bortle 4.  a lot better than inverness where i am, here its classed as bortle 6.
