Help please.

Was in the Sawtooth Mountains near Stanley Idaho, sometime around 10 PM I think something lit up the sky in a flash, I wasn’t looking up towards the sky just at the campfire. Lit up the area bright white kinda blue. Thought it was lightning.  About 4 minutes later heard the sound wave, multiple booms though.

Maybe ask on the cloudy nights forum, which is US based and might have observers in your area ? The vast majority of contributors on here are UK and EU based.
