Nasa will announce today that they have "found ET".

The results from SETI@HOME have been astounding leading to a run on their servers as the data was verified. This led to outages and a lack of work units for participants over the last few days but they are ready to make an announcement.

Todays UK newspapers will have full details of the news as it is released ahead of the announcement in the US because of the time difference.
