I was pleasantly surprised with the improvement from adding more luminance. I did not see much of a difference with 494 20 sec subs.  This image as 1200 20 sec luminance subs and 450 so sec RG and B.   It’s a bit dark, but I don’t have a choice as my sky is bright and I collected the rgb during a Moon ( so I had to be aggressive with the black point)
c11edge HD at 2800 mm (F10) with asi 1600 mono  the image is small because I cropped the edges and binned 2x2 in software

I wish.  I don’t think even with the darkness of a new moon I would be able to get the tidal tail.  That would be  great though

I tried a while back (from mag 20.5 skies), and didn't get very far with 10 hours of data:
