In a galaxy far far away

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I was hoping to draw on the corporate brain and gain a little advice about imaging galaxies.

Right now I have the following set up for imaging Nebula. Skywatcher 130pds, Heq5 pro goto mount, skywatcher nexguide guide scope, moded canon 60d dslr with field flattener, ASI Air.

The set up works really well for larger DSOs like Nebula and larger galaxies, but I was wondering if there would be a good scope for imaging galaxies. Most appear very small in the images.

I potentially have a budget of around £600.

Thanks for your help

Simon
