Hello everyone...I’m new to Astro photography so just learning this new skill
My equipment

C8” edge HD....with focal length of 2000mm.....EQ6R pro mount....my imaging camera ZWO asi533mc pro with my guide camera on the OAG is ZWO asi290mm mini. No reducer / flattener..... my question is when inputting the guide camera focal length into the settings of the ASCOM camera settings  do I use the 2000mm of the telescope or something else. If it is something else can anyone please put my mind at ease and explain. Thanks everyone

Joe

Yes it would be 2000mm.

To get an accurate value you could snap a shot of a star field and upload it to astrometry.net and it will give you the focal length (SCTs have a varying focal length depending on the focus position)
