EQMOD connection to HEQ5 Pro drops

Hi,

I've connected my HEQ5 to EQMOD through a dedicated cable. It connects well but the connection drops after 10-20 seconds. Can anyone help?

Is this a commercial cable, or DIY?  -  Are you you using a PC or laptop, and is the cable connected direct ?  The more information you give the less speculation we make

Hi, thanks for the reply. It's not a DIY cable. I bought it from Ali Express and it is meant for HEQ5 mount. Its connected directly to my laptop. Interestingly the same cable works well with my other mount EQ5 Pro. The HEQ5 mount connects well through the hand controller in PC direct mode.
