edarter
Well this represents my first serious attempt at processing a Galaxy. I've had a few rushed go's at things like Andromeda in the past but this represents a couple of hours work for me learning Photoshop. I appreciate thats probably still not a significant effort in post processing terms but its a step up for me. Personally I think it still looks a bit noisy but all my attempts so far at reducing noise yet keeping it sharp(ish) have failed. All tips / pointers / critique appreciated as I have a long way to go yet! Equivalent of 3hrs data taken over 3 nights since 11th April. Darks, Flats & Bias added, Stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop. Taken with Astro modified EOS600D, SW130PDS, Baader MPC3, NEQ6 Pro. Thanks Ed Edited April 27, 2020 by edarter
