astro mick
Hi. Although last night was clear here on the East Coast,i had some probs with my imaging gear, and could not really get going.By the time i had it sorted it was getting late, and the Moon was doing its usual thing.I decided to try and image M108 in Ursa Major even though it was not too far from the Moon.Opting for a straight RGB image as the L would have been useless,i managed to get 60mins on the three colours, before I packed in. I took 12x300 secs for each colour, but had no time for calibration frames which I usually do. Maybe the odd hot pixel in the image, but I,m too disappointed with it for so little data. Clear skies.
