Celestron SLT GOTO Mount

Recommended Posts

Hi All, I had a great night last night exploring the clear skies.

Just wondering if anyone can help me on this question please?

When I have found an interesting cluster of stars manually using the directional buttons, is there anyway that I can get the mount to track that position? If I select a known star etc it will track, but a manual location seems not to track.

I am using a Celestron GOTO SLT Mount with a 130 SLT scope.

Many Thanks,

Paul

I have the same scope (bought it around the time of this post actually 😊), and have been wondering the same thing. Or at very least if I can get it aligned using my StarSense if I could get it to track so I don't have to constantly move the position manually. Maybe by bumping this post someone will finally be able to answer both of us 😄
