This is a VERY nice galaxy to observe under dark skies! The highlight of my weekend, its mottled and grainy apearance make me wonder how it looks in a LARGE aperture instrument. I like the fact the core sprouts a bridge to the outer regions, and darker lanes cross the disk. 

Definately worth a look!
