Old Celestron C5 clean-up

Hi, I have picked up an old C5 which has several areas where the pebble-dash grey paint has come adrift, mainly on the forks but also on the rear cell and finder bracket. Does anyone know of a suitable paint to use to tidy these up?

Also, does anyone know of a source of a suitable 3-pin AC cable? The scope is a 230V model, circa 1980.
