This must the most underwhelming conjunction of M45 by any major object that I can remember?, with Mars noticeably much fainter than Aldebaran. Taken with a Canon 1100D  on a driven EQ2 mount.Camera fitted with a old M42 threaded  telephoto ,15 second exposure at 800ISO .
