baggywrinkle
I know...M31 again, but I am pleased with this image as it is the first DSO I have caught on my LX850 set up. This was taken using a Canon 650D 60 x 1 min exposure @ 1600 ISI with the camera connected to the Altair 70mm refractor. I have the Altair mounted on the saddle plate to one side. I fried at Kings Lynn Astro Soc gave me a tip on the processing. I have had a load of trouble trying to process Canon RAW images in DSS, he said to convert them to TIFF then process in DSS....so I did. Previously my RAW images were too poor to process when I was tring to image DSO.
