Hi there - question about the 6" risers... how heavy duty are these and do you notice any flex?  Any other issues with using these risers?

I have a new AZ8 in the mail and I'm pretty sure that I will need a riser, likely 2 like in your setup as I'm using a Tak FC-100DF refractor and don't want to be sitting on the floor when close to zenith :)

The risers are well made and certainly sturdy enough for the job. That said, the increased distance between tripod and mount will inevitably have an effect, especially with heavier scopes.

Tak 100 should be no problem at all. :happy11:
