Still some warts with the stepper driver, but I'm well chuffed... soon this from the armchair.

Nice pics; what did you do differently in the 2nd image, the stars are quite brighter.

Thanks. Just tried stretching it again in GIMP, being a bit more conscious of where the limit of data was.

It actually looks quite nice if I put the second over the first in Luminance mode with opacity 50 odd, but I was just playing around.
