PowerSeeker Mount

Recommended Posts

I currently have a Celestron 127EQ and I often find that trying to locate an object is very difficult. My telescope will point in the right area but that's the best I can get it. Also my finder scope is very cheap so it won't stay aligned for more than five minutes, finding things ends up being a game of luck. Is this the result of a cheap mount or are electric mounts the way to go?

Telrad is a very good solution to this problem. Had the same problem as you when I started, bought telrad and despite bad mount I could point where I wanted .
