Gamma Cas, IC 59 and sailboat cluster, just...

Recommended Posts

This is from two nights ago. 21 X 4min, iso 800, Canon 1200D, 70-300 zoom lens at 200mm. F5, stacked in DSS and processed in PS. Bias and Darks added. EQ5 pro tracking mount, no guiding. I've now imaged this region in 70mm lens, 200mm lens, 325mm scope and 750mm scope. Next stop Hubble! Still got widefields of M31 and M33 to stack and process. A good nights imaging keeps me busy processing for ages...

Came out better than I expected...

Great result.

I try to do some processing while my gear collects more data. As far as AP is concerned, I'm like a squirel. I gather all that I can get, then take my time digesting (processing). Gives me enough to do during cloudy nights and summer recess/hibernation.
