Most people must have the same experience as I have, it's very complicated to focus correctly by hand, a motordriven focuser must be a perfect solution. After looking around what equipment there was I found the USB-focus kit. It has a stepper motor and ASCOM driver and not very expensive.

For you who find this interesting I have written about my focuser project on my homepage with a lot of photos how I implemented it on my 5" refractor:
