This is the English home page of a German site that has a photographic atlas of the moon. http://www.mondatlas.de/index_e.html

The information in English is a bit sketchy, but they use the Latin names of formations. If you go to "Alphabetical list of moon features," you will go to a list from which you can choose the one you want, and get a set of photographs of that feature under varying illumination conditions. This could be an aid in finding stuff you are not sure of, or confirming an identification.
