The lens cannot be removed, so prime focus will not be possible.

Anything would then have to be afocal and I cannot see how that camera achieves manual focus - thinking here of you manually rotating the lens and that seems to not be an option.

I see it says "Full Auto, Program AE, and Manual exposure modes" however not sure exactly how "manual" it means.

The thing about astrophotography is that you in effect overrule everything that the camera wants to set. No camera with half a brain would do what it is asked to in AP. I have the idea that they interpret manual as you define a couple of bits and the camera does the others. Whereas you do not want the camera to involve itself at all.

I also guess that it is jpeg only, usually DSO imaging is in raw mode for subsequent processing, also raw files are bigger, much bigger.
