Recently sold a telescope, would have preferred a buyer pickup, but this chap was in London.  Was asked if I would post. Usual response arrange courier at your risk. When spoke to buyer a complete gent. He arranged and paid for courier and associated insurance

Courier arranged  :- Ipost Parcels, labels printed. They would arrive between 8am and 6pm.....  A whole day and a complete no show. After much correspondence, I received a text to say would pick up between 11.00 & 12.00 on 03/06/2015... Arrived 11.02, but still no delivery today..All it states on their website is delayed.

SO beware of using these couriers. Or if someone has arranged to collect using them, double check.

An update from my last post regarding this courier.

The telescope was delivered today two days late, with the focuser tube separated from the OTA. That must have been some impact.

Avoid.
