Focuser Repair

Was curious if someone knew how to fix focusers. It's the A24-201 Orion stock 2" Focuser. It gets stuck sometimes when I try and focus. Turn the knob and nothing moves. (No, the locking set screw at the bottom is not tightened. Lol.) Sometimes I have to pull the focuser out manually before turning the knobs does anything. Any help or expertise would be stellar. (No pun intended.)

PS: The scope is out of warranty so taking it apart is always an option now.

Correction: A20-241 2" Focuser.

I believe your focuser is basically the same as the Skywatcher crayford. The link below should download a PDF file on how ti tube one of these units which might help:
