Canon 450d, screen staying on using intervalometer.

Recommended Posts

I bought an intervalometer off eBay but when I'm using it the screening my camera is staying on. It goes black but looks like it's still backlit and in the bottom corner there's a timing showing the exposure length. I can't seem to turn it off. Is this normal? I didn't have this problem when using it with my 350d but then that doesn't have live view.

Pressing the "display" button in the top left next to the "menu" should fix it.

I think. :)

You may have to press this before you start the captures though, so press the display button to take it back to no display and then start.
