Advice needed...

I've got a skywatcher as eq6 mount, just downloaded eos premium (which is awesome) and stellarium to my laptop. I now need to connect the mount to it.

I recently purchased the HitecAstro EQDIR adapter for EQMOD with FLO, but It's not working on my laptop .apparently there's an issue with Windows 8 whereby you need to install some software prior but the laptop is Windows 7. Do I need to do something different? Really keen to connect this beauty to my laptop so any help would be valued.

Did You instal Stellarum Scope plugin for stellarium? If You did not, You can downloada it here.
