Neutral Density "Solar" grade filter for DSLR

Hi,

I am looking for a ND filter that I can screw onto the lens (62mm diameter required) of my DSLR for solar observing. I (think I) want the equivalent of Baader solar film (3.8 / 5.0) in front of my camera but as a screw on lens rather than having to cobble something together with cardboard / astrosolar film and/or Cokin ND filter holder.

I have been doing lots of searching online and can find varying strength ND filters but can't appear to find one stronger than ND3.0. Also not sure whether I would need to also use a UV filter with this.

The intent is to use this setup for: a) timelapse of the upcoming (partial) solar eclipse and B) imaging sunspots (without a telescope).

Any advice/thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Meanwhile, back to Google.

Cheers

Kenny
