Saturn rescued from 28/2/08

So glad I got something out of that avi. Thanks to Trevor's advice, I managed to get rid of those funny lines. However, I went and stacked all 2000 frames, which I didn't mean to do. I was only going to do 1000. I reckon there's even more to be had, but I've got a hint of Cassini, and definite banding, so I'm quite chuffed

Scope: 8" newtonian at f/15 (Tal 3x barlow).

Camera: Atik 1-HS with IR block.

2000/2000 frames stacked and processed in Registax, with false saturation. Post-process in Photoshop.

That’s better Andrew, open the image in Photoshop then click…. filter….noise….despeckle…..see how it turns out then.
