not 100% sure how to show these pictures over the internet, i`ve been reducing the picture from a 16 bit Adobe RGB colour spaced image to a 8 bit sRGB image and have been saving as a PNG file, is that the best option ?

That turned out really well!

 As for image upload I save them to Google plus then copy the  image url > select insert image on SGL  > then paste the url etc.

 This would work for any online image library (right click "Save  image url')

 I'm not sure if you get the same image quality but it's easier
