Nexstar+ firmware

Hi all,

Anyone have any idea where I can find the handset update software for the 6SE handset please? Everywhere I've looked only has version 4 which is for the pre-nexstar+ handsets! even Celestron's own site (following the products links to the 6SE and it's support).

The instructions are clearly for the old version because to run those updates, it says to switch on the telescope power whilst pushing down the undo and info keys, these are replaced on the + version with back and icon keys (tried pushing them anyway with no success).

Guess I must be doing something wrong but no idea what and I've already wasted virtually all this bank holiday weekend trying to sort it out!!!! (The telescope has developed a fault with "boot loader invalid pkg:0020" message).

You'll find the update software here ..

Then select the 'more files' options under the 'Software' section.

'Hand Control Firmware Updates' .. the current latest is v1.1.14

They changed the update software to JAVA type some time ago, so you'll need JAVA on your system for it to work.
