Comet C/2012 K1 (PANSTARRS) LRGB

Image captured on 2nd May 2014 as the comet was a few degrees away from M51 in Ursa Major. LRGB (3 subs each channel, all 5min exposures). Scope was a 10" SCT with f/6.3 reducer. I've got a problem with reflection from my LPAS filter causing a bright doughnut artifact on all frames and I've found it difficult to correct this problem using flats taken a couple of days later. That limits the amount of stretch that can be applied and still leave a viewable image. Testing later I confirmed that flats taken without the filter display no doughnut and so I can only suggest the filter is suitable for refractors but not reflectors.
