refunding shipping from celestron/ high point???

I just purchased a scope and mount from celestron,  they charged my like $50 for shipping, but sent the order to high point scientific to be fulfilled..  high point gives free shipping..   I am kinda upset about it, I could have used to extra money to get something else...  Seems kinda shady IMO..

I have put in emails to both companies asking for some kinda store credit from high point....

Any chance they will be cool about it, or is $50 wasted?

You were happy with the shipping charge when you agreed the purchase so why should the suppliers be penalised. Perhaps Celestron pay High Point Scientific to give free postage??
