pipsquip
I have had good captures of mars and Jupiter so I thought I would have a go at saturn it should be not that difficult I thought because I have taken images of Jupiter and its moons and mars with no problems. So last night I had a go and I could not image it I focused the imager using mars .I slewed the scope to saturn using my usual eyepiece to center saturn I adjusted the exposure ect but all I got was a blank screen . What am I doing wrong I have got a skywatcher 127 synscan goto scope and a orion starshoot IV planetary imager. There was a full moon and were I live there is a lot of light pollution was that the problem ? Or part ?
