I've recently attempted to view Jupiter using my Logitech 4000 pro webcam with 1.25 adapter placed into the focus tube using Sharpcap2 software. (using celestron 114eq scope)

I adjusted everything there is to adjust in the settings panel but unable to obtain anything but a white blob. There was no slider for gain control, which I think is the problem. There is also no setting in the Logitech driver software for adjustment of gain.

What am I not doing guys?

Thanks

Tony.

Yes the exposure control is way over the top. As suggested drop it off until it is barely visible and slowly increase levels.

I struggle with a 130EQ and xBox live webcam but I've seen some great images with the SPC, so hopefully your cam is better than my cheap one.
