Android polar finder app and iOptron polar scope

Unfortunately I havn't been able to try my iOptron SkyTracker yet because of lousy weather. Just got the android polarfinder app (TechHead) and I've got a little question regarding the image orientation setting. Would it be correct to assume that I need to choose the telescopic image orientation to get polaris in the right place in the polar scope's reticule? It's position there will change depending if I choose telescopic,  naked eye or diagonal mirror in the app menu. Logic tells me to use the telescopic option, but I just want to confirm this.
