My only concern is the life of the battery when in the 'off' position and left in situ. The battery (CR2032) only seems to have a life of two months before replacement is due, so I have to remove it when I pack up for the night. I also have a TeleVue Qwik-Point and it too uses a CR2032 and I can leave that permantly in situ and it lasts for two years before replacement.
