Binoviewers and alternative uses

Hi,

Just an interesting question about bino viewers.

Is it possible to use bino viewers to hook up a DSLR to one side and observe from the other?

Saves switching a camera in and out and aid finding and photographing areas of interest,

I would imagine that you would have problems with the binoviewer flexing as you are carrying a lot of weight some distance from the eyepiece and would also have problems focussing as the binoviewer is designed to be used with two matching eyepieces so would probably not have enough adjustment to allow the DSLR and eyepiece to both be brought to focus. An off axis guider arrangement would be more practical.

perhaps but an off axis guider would allow LESS light to pass than a bino viewer no? how about a Webcam attached to it?
