somebody will. From the completeness of the stuff you have got with your scope I suspect that it will be a collimation tool but a picture would confirm it either way.

Also I cant get the finder scope to line up with the main scope it gets close but no adjustment left.

I have lined up the talrad to it so not completely buggered.

Does this mean the main scope is out of line ?

The extras are the 2-inch eyepiece extension / and a camera thread adaptor.

Keep them safe - you don't need them yet.

The finderscope is probably mounted the wrong way in the bracket, or maybe the O ring has perished.

Try to take a picture so we can make sure it is fitted correctly.

If you have the original instructions, the correct orientation is shown in the user manual.

It should work OK - so don't make any major adjustments. There will be an easy solution.

PS - you need to line the finderscope up on the stars.

If you try to use something a few hundred yards away, it probably won't come into adjustment, and will be miles out on the sky

Right I see was trying to line it up with a laser point on the house :-\.

2" lense's wow that sounds expensive haha.

Guess I will need another adaptor for my slr then
