First try at Orion with QHY8L

Hey guys,

Here the first try at M42 with the QHY8L, i took 10x360sec and for the center another 5x40sec. Not a very good mask in PS, but i am pretty happy with it.

This is one of the hardest objects, partly because of the insane dynamic range and partly because of the high standard of images 'out there.'

I think you've done well but I'd want to address the yellow region around the Trapezium because this is not real. There is, I believe, a smooth colour continuum from just beyond the Trapezium out into the main nebula.
