Meade 4501 good choice for beginner?

Hello and good day.  Of course I want to buy an Orion 8" Dob..  but money money right now..

Question.. What is a good price for this scope in good used condition.

And are their any problems such as if I were to buy extra eye pieces for it would they not work with my 8" dob that I want some day..

Is this scope going to let me see the rings of saturn and jupiter colors and etc.. Or is it going to be more of nuiscance to mess with..

Would sure appreciate your help and opinions.  I see for 50 bucks will get me that little celestron starter.. woudl I be better off with that..

In the UK we expect to pay maybe 60% of the new price for perfect used equipement. The 8 inch Dob would be excellent. They also do a 6 inch, also good. The Dob gives more aperture and a simple but incredibly efficient mount.
