Eyepieces

Are eyepieces normally custom made for your telescope brand or are they interchangeable?

I recently bought a Sky Watcher 130EQ65 telescope and it came with the usual 10mm and 25mm eyepieces. Do I have to buy Sky-Watcher eyepieces or will any 1.25 inch eyepiece fit in it?
